Strip baits are probably the most common bait used in fishing yet the most poorly presented bait of them all. Strip baits should be fresh and should never fall in a lump at the bottom of the fishing hook. This coves the barb of the hook and is one of the biggest reason for missed hook-ups! Always use fresh strip baits and use a keeper hook or half hitch the line arround the top of the bait to stop it falling on the barb.
