XTC is a fabulous vessel designed by Paul Stanyon. This aluminium power catamaran built by Lightning Boats under the supervision of Stephen Earp Marine Services, is built to survey standards with the express purpose of long distance cruising.
A robust hull with full propeller protection, she offers excellent economy and range, comprehensive spares and inventory. Powered with twin 100Hp Yanmar diesels, (with 80-amp alternators) cruising at 8.5 to 9 knots using less than 1L per nautical mile per engine. Great electrics including solar panels, sine wave inverter, auto pilot and radar.
The galley is equipped with ample refrigeration, 3-burner gas stove, oven and grill. Accessories include 4 x 80-watt solar panels, wind generator, 1800-watt pure sine wave inverter, 40L per hour watermaker, 2KvA Honda generator, microwave, battery charger, washing machine and air conditioner.
The flybridge is huge and an excellent entertaining area. XTC has a delightful layout and finish with master cabin and guest suite, separate toilet and shower and a very spacious interior.
